Meet the owners

Family owned business since 1989. As President, Dixie Wyant started the nursery after graduating from NC State in horticulture and compiling work experience from local greenhouse nurseries. Dixie is the chief overseer of growing and purchasing all of the plant materials. She also is the financial administrator. Steve Wyant came to Wilde Oaks Nursery in 1996 full time after years of work experience in landscaping. He has a degree in economics from NC State. Steve is the Vice-President and facilitator of the operation. Jackson Wyant has a degree in forestry from NC State with a minor in horticulture. He came to Wilde Oaks full time in 2006. Jackson grew up working at the nursery and contributes in all phases of facilitation and production including growing and deliveries.
